Since I bought a lot of furniture from Ikea lately so had no problem to assemble this one. Took me 2,5 hours. I started to build it anyway because I was hopeful it wouldn't be visible! However, the damaged part was the top of the table! I'm so disappointed because it was extremely straightforward to build (it took me a couple of hours on my own) and looks sturdy and attractive! Shame about the damage but I will probably keep it now I have built it, I don't particularly want to take it apart and repackage for return. I guess sometimes companies count on that because it seems quite common for this item! You might be lucky and get one undamaged, in which case you've got an absolute bargain for a good quality dressing table. Plus, they reduced the price again right after I bought it! It was intended to be our daughter's first dressing table/desk, and it has proven to be worthless. Had to return due to damage of all the main exterior boards. Admittedly I've had a bit of experience putting flat packed stuff from IKEA etc together but found this to be pretty straightforward.
A bonus is all of the wood panels and screws are labelled with letters/numbers making it even easier when looking at the instructions.
Perfect size for the space we had for it.
